Glenaras was a strategic acquisition: an appraisal project with existing wells, infrastructure and data, taken on because it fits how we prefer to enter — established ground, capability applied after.
The principal development contingency is water ingress. Key pathways have been identified, mitigation strategies are technically achievable, and a multi-faceted implementation approach is under development.
Novus work will be focused on developing an effective extraction technology, including blocking water ingress, alongside field characterisation, technical assurance and the design of a credible development pathway. Resource information will be published only once it has been prepared and qualified in accordance with the applicable reporting standards.
Operations are being run lean, with a steady-state maintenance transition underway and pilot activities in preparation.
